We are pleased to announce that a painting by Leopold Gottlieb, an artist whose work constitutes a major area of research at the Art & Modern Foundation, has been included in the exhibition L’École de Paris. Collection Marek Roefler hosted by the Musée de Montmartre in Paris.

The exhibition highlights the extraordinary diversity of artists associated with the École de Paris community – creators from around the world who made Paris the centre of modern art in the first half of the 20th century. Polish painters occupy a special place among them, and Leopold Gottlieb – with his spirituality, expressiveness and profound humanism – is one of a most important parts of this phenomenon.

The exhibition was possible thanks to the collaboration between Mark Roefler, a collector and founder of Villa La Fleur, the Musée de Montmartre and curators Alice S. Legé and Artur Winiarski. The event is an illustration of the dialogue of cultures and shared artistic heritage still present in contemporary art.

The exhibition can be seen at the Musée de Montmartre in Paris from 17 October 2025 to 15 February 2026.
